The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and his co-defendants have asked Justice James Tsoho of a Federal High Court, in Abuja to disqualify himself from continuing the six-count treason charge levelled against them.
When the case was called, Counsel to Kanu, complained about the engagement of the new lawyer, saying his client should have informed him beforehand.
The new counsel asked the court for time to enable him study the case file, and the trial Judge adjourned the case to September the 26th.
