Ex Backstreet Boys member, American singer, Nick Carter has spent $50K on the construction and furnishing of his firstborn’s nursery.
According to reports, Nick and his wife Lauren, welcomed their first baby named Odin, on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 after 30 hours of labor.
The couple hired two celebrity designers Stephanie Avila and Tori Swain to build their son’s nursery.
Stephanie is a known HGTV designer. She created Rockabye Mommy, which caters to expectant mothers and is one of the leading companies in children’s room interiors.
Construction and furniture was included in the steep price for Nick and Lauren’s dream nursery room for Odin.
The high-end picks ran quite pricey, such as $700 for a crib, $1,200 for sconces, $550 for one of the lamps, and $2,500 for a couch.
The steampunk motif for the room evolved after the parents fell for the industrial-themed wallpaper that was put up, and decided to run with it for the rest of the nursery’s design.
Nick proposed to his wife Lauren Kitt, on February 23, 2013, in Florida. They got married on April 12, 2014, in Santa Barbara, California.
On Wednesday, January 13, 2016 the former boy band member was arrested by the police in Key West, Florida for involving in a ‘scuffle’, which allegedly occurred at a restaurant called Hog’s Breath Saloon.
