TVC E. Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. known professionally as Lil Wayne, the American hip hop recording artist from New Orleans, Louisiana has been released from hospital.
He was hospitalized after his private jet was forced by a medical emergency to land Monday at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield. He was later described in stable condition after suffering what his publicist says were two minor seizures.
Publicity director Derek Sherron of The Chamber Group said on Wednesday June th 15th that Lil Wayne, was “all good.”
The Cash Money rapper was said to have instantly left town after checking out of the hospital, he is getting ready to perform at a gig holding on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri.
In March 2013 Lil Wayne was hospitalized in Los Angeles for seizures. He disclosed that he has epilepsy.
At the age of nine, Lil Wayne joined Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label, and half of the duo The B.G.’z, alongside fellow New Orleans-based rapper Lil’ Doogie. In 1996, Lil Wayne formed the southern hip hop group Hot Boys, with his Cash Money label-mates Juvenile, Young Turk and Lil’ Doogie (who now goes by B.G.).
Lil Wayne has sold over 100 million records worldwide, including sold more than 15 million albums and 37 million digital tracks in United States, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.
