The House of Representatives has also approved 241.11 billion naira as the 2016 budget for the Niger Delta Development Commission.
This was after the report of the Committee on NDDC was considered and passed for third reading.
The breakdown shows a Personnel Expenditure of 17.5 billion naira and Overhead Expenditure of 9.98 billion naira.
The Internal Capital Expenditure and Development Projects stand at 1.3 billion naira and 212.27 billion naira respectively..
The Projects Development Expenditure is shared among the NDDC Head Office, Regional Projects and nine states including Bayelsa, Cross River, Edo, Delta, Ondo, Imo, Rivers, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom.
