Ekiti Students Union leaders condemn pro-Fayose rally

Student union leaders of higher institutions in Ekiti State say they were not a part of a pro-Governor Fayose rally being conducted by students in the state capital.

The pro-Fayose rally which was to counter last week’s demonstration by a coalition of civil rights activists, involved youths with
placards condemning the Federal Government and the EFCC for waging a selective anti-graft war.

But some students union leaders said the youths who participated in the rally were hired.
