R&B Singer The Weeknd was a big winner at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
He took home eight trophies, more than any other artist in competition at the awards – including Top Hot 100 Artist, Top R and B Artist and Top R and B Album for “Beauty Behind The Madness.”
Adele also had a big night, earning five awards, including Top Artist.
Celine Dion gave an emotional performance at the ceremony, singing Queen’s “The Show Must Go On,” backed by a powerful orchestra.
Dion lost her husband and brother in the same week in January, and her son presented her with the Billboard Icon award after her performance.
Madonna paid homage to Prince by wearing his signature color and bringing Stevie Wonder on stage to sing the classic “Purple Rain.”
The 2016 Billboard Awards was hosted by Ciara and Ludacris.
