The war against insurgency is still on going in the North East.
Troops deployed in operation Lafiya Dole, have killed three insurgents and captured nine members of the group.
They were said to be hiding in fox holes in Borno State.
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman said in a statement on monday, that the troops killed 3 insurgents and captured others, during a clearance operation at various terrorists hideouts.
The troops recovered some weapons , motorcycles and other equipment from the insurgents.
