The ex-banker, Mrs. Ronke Shonde, who was allegedly killed by her husband, was interred at the Atan cemetery, Yaba, on Friday.
People, The Nation gathered, wailed uncontrollably while her corpse was being lowered into the grave.
The deceased’s body was conveyed to the cemetery in a hired hearse which left the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) morgue at about 2:00pm.

The burial which was kept secret, The Nation gathered was witnessed by only close family members and friends of the deceased.
Our correspondent learnt that a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor from Destiny Sanctuary held a brief sermon that lasted about five minutes.
