Rio 2016: Australia Unveils swimming outfits

THE Australian Olympic team’s chef de mission Kitty Chiller hailed Australia’s aquatic superstars at the launch of the new-look swimming, diving and water polo Rio Olympic uniforms on the Gold Coast.      

 

Chiller praised the “fresh, young and new look team in Rio” as Australia unveiled swimwear with green & gold stripes and shading on swimming’s black racing suits.

The women’s diving suit has a dark green colour with yellow and white stripes while the women’s water polo is navy blue with green and gold.

Chiller also announced the Speedo, the AOC’s longest standing sponsor, had also signed a stunning 12-year extension to take their aquatic sponsorship to the 2028 Olympic Games.

Australian athletes Cameron McEvoy, Emma McKeon, Jake Packard, Bronte Barratt (swimming), Maddison Keeney, Domonic Bedggood (diving) and Kelsey Wakefield (water polo) were on hand to model the new uniform on the Gold Coast this morning.
