Resident doctors postpone nationwide strike

National Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria have announced the shifting of its earlier scheduled Nationwide Strike by 2 weeks, till the 9th of May 2016.

National President of the Association, Dr Muhammad Askira made this known to news men in Kano. He says the decision was made during the Association’s meeting last week Sokoto State.

Dr Muhammad Askira noted that the Association had since directed its branch in Osun State to immediately suspend its 7 months industrial action to fastrack the agreement between them and the Osun State Government.

The Resident Doctors President charged the federal Government to finalize all issues on ground before the Association embark upon an indefinite Industrial Action in the country.
