Nigerian singer and producer, ‘Zeez‘ (formerly DJ Zeez) has been ordered by a High Court in Lagos to refund over N22 million to his record label, HF Music.
The singer was sued in September 2015 by HF Music for breach of contract.
Here is a copy:
According to reports, the presiding judge, honourable Justice B.A. Oke-Lawal (Mrs), ordered that Zeez should refund the sum of N22,378,605.70 (Twenty-two million, three hundred and seventy-eight thousand, six hundred and five naira and seventy kobo) being the total amount spent by HF Music on his career until the point when the contract was breached by him.
Efforts to get comments from Zeez were futile, as we got no response to our messages or answer calls either.
He however posted a birthday shout-out to his friend on Instagram a few hours ago and hasn’t made comments about the new injunction on any of his social media accounts.
The last time Zeez released any new music was February 10, 2015 when he dropped the video for ‘Madam‘.
