Leaders of Nigeria’s main opposition party may have resolved their differences as they plan to go ahead with theparty’s national convention.
The convention is billed to hold on May the 21st in Port Harcourt.
But some aggrieved party members are still opposed to the planned convention and the Party’s zoning arrangement which they feel favours the Chairman Ali-Modu Sherrif.
They also fault the outcome of the party’s congresses across the nation.
To this end, the party’s national leaders have agreed to wade into the matter and Ali Modu Sheriff is optimistic he will win big at the convention.
