Military vows to crush Fulani militia disguising as herdsmen

Herdsmen

The military says it will not treat with kid gloves any militia unleashing terror under the guise of fulani herdsmen.

This is coming just as the leadership of the fulani cattle breeders met with the military high command and attempted to justify the herdsmen attacks as acts of self defence.

Defence Correspondent Sifon Essien report that the military is coming out to warn emphatically that it would not treat with kid gloves any group that embarks on a killing spree,

This comes against recent criticisms about the tardy manner they had handled the matter.

At a meeting with a delegation of the cattle breeders, the military authorities make known their resolve to carry out president Buharis directive for a crackdown on Fulani herdsmen militia.

But the delegation of the cattle breeders is more interested in the cause of the attacks.

Alkhaki explains that the Fulani assailants may have acted in self defence.

This may set the agenda for what ever action the government might considering taking.
