Hundreds of Kano residents converged on the state capital to attend the funeral of 8 students and a driver, who died in an autocrash on the Lagos-Ibadan Express way.
The students and their coordinators were on their way back to Kano from Lagos after attending a quiz competition when the incident occurred.
Bodies of the victims have since been laid to rest at the Kano Farm Centre Grave Yard according to Islamic rites.
