Imo Varsity students protest non payment of lecturers salaries

Some students of Imo State University, held a peaceful protest at the State Government House, calling on Governor Rochas Okorocha to pay their lecturers salaries.

The staff unions of the university had been on strike since March the 21st.

But the peaceful protest met a brick wall as security operatives locked the Government House gate, and made it impossible for the angry students to see the Governor.
