The Federal government is set to re-open negotiation with the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress, over the new pump price of petrol.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige says the strike called by the NLC, would neither earn money for the government nor fix the refineries.
He debunked claims by the NLC, that the government did not consult the union before announcing the new pump price.
Ngige added that the government met twice with labour leaders on the issue, giving its own suggestion on the template presented by the petroleum minister.
