TVC E. Helen Mirren has had a great fall — although certainly not from grace.
After elegantly twirling down the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday night, the 70-year-old tripped on the stairs.
Wearing a black lace dress with sheer sleeves and a voluminous ankle-length skirt, the actress was obviously loving her look. Working it at The Unknown Girl premiere, Mirren had her hair slicked back with a side-bang swoop and accessorized with a massive diamond ring. Yet after successfully dazzling onlookers and photographers, Mirren had a misstep — literally.
Yet she’s not the only one to take a tumble in that exact location. Just the night before, model Petra Nemcova fell to the ground and laughed it off like a champ.
Julia Roberts, who took her shoes off to navigate some of the treacherous red carpet terrain, certainly had the right idea.
