The Federal government has been advised not to recognize or negotiate with the so-called Niger Delta Avengers.
An activist from the oil rich region says the new militant group is faceless and does not represent the interest and feelings of the region.
TVC News correspondent Sophia Ogezi reports that spokesperson of the so-called Avengers col- Mudoch Agbinibo said their goal is to cripple Nigeria’s economy.
True to its bizarre avowal the group attacked oil facilities,thus affecting production, which in turn dropped oil production to 1.65m barrels a day, the lowest in 22 years because of the resurgence of militant activities.
This stakeholder says the activities of the Avengers is not acceptable and should be stopped at all cause.
The group which is believe to be selfish in their struggle is setting the cause of the backward development in the region.
Some Niger Delta youths say the activities of the Avengers is destructive and anemical to the struggle of emancipating the region and that they should give the Mohammadu Buhari led administration support to develop the region.
One thing is certain that the continuous activities of the Avengers in the Detla will greatly affect the nations economy and these stakeholders believe the time to act is now.
