Nigerian musician based in the U.S, Olufunso Adesina has been sentenced to three years in jail over the attempted theft of $3.5 million in tax refunds.
It was gathered that the 29-year-old guitarist had reportedly tried to steal more than $3 million in fake tax refunds.
Adesina living in St. Louis had pleaded guilty to stealing tax refunds last year bagging over three years in a federal prison on Thursday, April 21.
The suspect could face a maximum sentence of ten years in prison if found guilty.
