Traffic managers in the country have thrown their weight behind the ongoing training exercise organised by thepetroleum tanker drivers association.
They say this is very important at this time when the loading of petroleum products at various depots is at its peak.
They agreed to cooperate with the tanker drivers whose role have become extremely important in the country.
On their part leaders of the union said the training become imperative due to the recent issues of tanker accidents in the country that has led to loss of lives and property worth millions of naira.
He made the call at the Foundation laying ceremony of an integrated steel company at Jimba Oja , in Ilorin, Kwara State.
He noted that though Nigeria is acclaimed the 12th largest iron ore resource country in the world and the second Largest in Africa, about 70% of the deposits are yet to be proven.
Osinbajo disclosed that the federal government is presently looking at options that will help resolve the challenges of synergising the capacity of government and the private sector to certify existing deposits.
