Angry soccer loving individuals carrying placards and paper boards with negative write ups have called for the resignation of the Amaju Pinnick-led Nigeria football federation board.
The fans condemned the NFF’s desire to hire a foreign coach for the Super Eagles and described the current football administration as a failure. They chanted songs calling for Pinnick and others to leave the glasshouse.
Apparently the fans are disgruntled over Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2015 Africa cup of nations and most recently the 2017 edition to be staged in Gabon.
Meanwhile, sports minister, Solomon Dalung has condemned calls for the resignation of Pinnick and the NFF board. Amaju says Nigeria’s absence at the Nations cup does not amount to failure.
