American singer Rita Ora has responded to rumours that she is having an affair with rap mogul Jay Z.
The rumour mill started after the Roc Nation boss’s wife, Beyonce mentioned a certain ‘Becky with the good hair’ who cheated with her husband.
Since Beyonce dropped that line in her classic ‘Lemonade’ album which dropped recently, the singer’s fans known as the Beyhive have slammed Rita for being ‘Becky with the good hair’.
The singer was trolled on social media for sharing a picture of herself wearing a bra with two lemons on it and also what appeared to be a letter ‘J’ necklace.
While clearing the air, Rita said she has nothing but the utmost respect for Beyonce and the rumours are false.
“I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false,” she tweeted.
“I have nothing but the utmost respect for Beyonce. Let’s continue enjoying Lemonade.”
