TVC E. Two brothers, Chiemerie Nnamani and Nnaemeka Nnamani, have allegedly defiled two sisters – Favour and Uloma (surname withheld) at Kafuso Ogwu area of Ishiagu community in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The men are sons of a pastor of the Assemblies of God Church in the area.
A resident of the area, Igwe Moses, said the suspects lured the minors to a corner of the church and had carnal knowledge of them. He said: “This is very bad.
How would someone whose father has been preaching against such ungodly acts not learn anything good? “This is discretion of the church.
It is not just defiling these children, they have committed a sacrilege. They have sinned against God and man for defiling these innocent children.” When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP George Okafor, confirmed the defilement.
Okafor said a medical report showed that the two children were defiled and the matter was already in court. According to him, the children’s parents are living around the church where the father of the suspects currently serves as a pastor.
