TVC E. Waziri Adio a renowned journalist and policy strategist, the lead consultant on public communication, policy and public strategic management and who serves as the chief strategy officer of Think-Tank Consult declares his assets publicly says he has only N3.8m in all his accounts
President Muhammadu Buhari constituted the new governing board of Nigeria Extractive Transparency Initiative (NEITI), with the publisher of Metropole Magazine, Waziri Adio, as the board’s executive secretary.
A statement from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawan, said Mr. Adio was appointed alongside 23 others to serve as the National Stakeholders Working Group (NSCG), otherwise known as the Governing Board of NEITI.
Between 1995 and 2003, Mr. Adio held various editorial positions in Thisday Newspaper and was at one time Special Adviser, Research and Strategy in the office of the Senate President from August 2003 to October 2004.
Newly appointed Executive secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Transparency Initiative (NEITI), this afternoon publicly declared his assets on twitter. Waziri in February this year, became Executive Secretary of NEITI, an agency that promotes transparency and accountability in the management of Nigeria’s oil, gas and mining revenues.
