The three officials of the Osun state government kidnapped on Friday have regained their freedom, the State government has announced.
In a terse statement by the Osun state head of service, Olayinka Owoeye the three civil servants were freed Sunday evening but did not state if ransom was paid.
The statement added that arrangements were on to convey the three of them back to Osun state by security agents in order to reunite them with their families.
The permanent secretary, osun state ministry of finance Adebimpe Ogunlumade, the director of state audit, Tajudeen Badejoko and a driver, Oladapo Arogundade were abducted by some unknown gunmen along Obajana-lokoja expressway, Kogi state when they were returning from Abuja on an official assignment.
