A former Super Eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo has said the current leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation led by Amaju Pinnick has failed the country.
Kanu’s bashing of the NFF comes after the country failed for the second straight time to qualify for the AFCON.
He said the NFF have to change their style of leadership if Nigeria were to achieve success again.
This criticism comes after several prominent stakeholders demanded the resignation of president Amaju Pinnick as well as his entire executive committee after this unprecedented failure.
On Tuesday, the NFF executives will meet with the country’s sports minister for a consultative meeting in Abuja.
