A Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, Philip Aduda, accused top leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, of being involved in acts of rigging in the Wednesday rerun elections into the Abuja Municipal Area Council and other local government elections in FCT.
Senator Aduda at a press briefing in Abuja also accused senior leaders in government of interfering with the electoral process in the FCT polls through the sponsoring of thugs to perpetuate violence and ballot box snatching
He says he has evidence of the involvement of soldiers too.
The Senator, who is also the Minority Whip of the Senate, also chided security agencies for supporting APC to rig out PDP in its stronghold across the FCT.
