Nollywood young star, Alexx Ekubo on Sunday celebrated his 30th birthday with emotional messages to his creator, family, friends and fans who in one way or the other contributed to what he has become in life.

1. Born on April 10, 1986 as Alex Ekubo-Okwaraeke, the actor is a native of Arochukwu, Abia State.
2. Ekubo emerged the first runner up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest.
3. He attended Federal Government College Daura, Katsina State, and studied Law at the University of Calabar before proceeding to get a diploma in Mass Communication from Calabar Polytechnic.
4. Ekubo made his acting debut in 2005, in the Lancelot Imaseun film “Sinners in the House.”
5. Alexx Ekubo got his major movie role in the movie “Ladies Men.”
6. The actor landed his first Yoruba movie role in the Tope Osoba film “Ifedapo.”
