Yemi Alade
Yemi Alade has disclosed that her the title of her forthcoming studio album was inspired by her tours and performances.
“My producer Fliptyce and so many other people they’ve been calling me “Mama Africa” because they noticed that your girl no dey stay one place”, she said at a her exclusive album listening event in Lagos today March 1.
“Today I go dey Angola, tomorrow I go dey Kenya. I dey waka too much and mostly to African countries.
“So den start to dey call me “Mama Africa” you no go sit down one place, she added.
She said when she started looking for what to call her album this name suited it perfectly.
“2016 is all about my fans, let’s just say my fans gave me the title.”
