TVC E – It’s been over a decade since Mariah Carey told a few members of the paparazzi that she “didn’t know” who Jennifer Lopez was.
The feud and drama has been reignited or perhaps the flames never really went out as TMZ reports that Mariah was leaving the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday and didn’t hold back when it came to dissing Jennifer Lopez.
When asked what she thought about people bringing up her “I don’t know her” comment again after all these years, Mariah laughed, “I still don’t know her!”.
In 2015, Carey said she “was just being honest” when someone had asked her what she thought about Lopez were.
“I was just being honest and everybody’s kind of blowing it out of proportion”
That same year, Lopez cleared the air about their supposed rivalry on Watch What Happens Live, explaining that they’ve never met so she can’t necessarily say how she feels about Carey.
“I don’t have a feud against her at all. I know from back in the day, I’ve read things that she’s said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met. Like, we don’t know each other. I think it’s kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I’m not really aware of. But I don’t know,” Lopez told host Andy Cohen.
