Kyari was visiting the University for the installation of the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba El-Kanemi as Chancellor of the University.
Reports has it that a member of the emir’s delegatiom revealed that the fire incident started at about 2 am from one of the rooms in the lodge.
An electrical fault is suspected to have caused the fire.
