The Lagos state government is asking Nigerians to be tolerant of one another,especially in the area of religion, as none of the beliefs preaches acrimony.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Idiat Oluranti Adebule who spoke at the twenty-fifth anniversary walk for harmony, between Muslim and Christian faithful, organized by NASFAT society, in collaboration with the Redeemed Christian Church of God and the Christ Apostolic Church, emphasized the importance of unity amongst religious faithful.
The physical exercise, which started from Oba Akran Road in Ikeja and ended at the Alausa Secretariat mosque, had both Islamic and Christian leaders in attendance.
