TVC E, MOVIES – Biyi Bandele’s ‘Fifty’ is heading to Washington DC.
The film will screen at the 12th annual New African Film Festival, co-presented by American Film Institute, Africa World Now Project and afrikafé.
This year’s festival showcases the vibrancy of African film making from all corners of the continent.
In addition to the festival, the African Marketplace will also be a major feature at the event as part of the AFI’s mission to promote diversity through storytelling and promote Pan Africanism across America.
Fifty tells the story of four women forced at midlife to take inventory of their personal lives, while juggling careers and family.
