AFCON Qualifier : NFF rejigs Eagles’ travel plan to Egypt

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will now travel to Egypt on Monday, for their second leg of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt, in Alexandria on Tuesday.

NFF officials first announced the team will depart the country for Egypt on Saturday, but travel plans have now changed.

Nigeria remain two points behind the 7-time African Champions Egypt, following Friday’s 1-1 draw.

Only the overall group winners are guaranteed automatic qualification to Gabon 2017.
