Abducted 68-year-old Edo lawmaker’s mother regains freedom

She was abducted earlier today, but she made a miraculous escape.

This was the story of 68-year-old Abibat Adjoto, mother of a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Kabiru Adjoto, who was abducted by gunmen this Saturday.

Abibat was kidnapped at her residence in Akoko Edo local government area of the state, along with one of her adopted sons, whose identity has yet to be verified.

The 68-year-old, however, regained her freedom; that’s according to the Edo State Police Public Relations Officer,  Osifo Abiodun.

The police spokesman said she has since been reunited with her family,
