TVC E, GOSSIP – Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has said he has no hand in the affirmation of the 5-year jail term of embattled female thespian Ibinabo Fiberesima.
Emeka, who has been in a running battled with Ibinabo over the presidency of the Actors Guild of Nigeria said he shouldnt be assumed to be happy about Ibinabo’s debacle.
“I should not be assumed to be happy with the present travail of Ibinabo Fiberesima,” he said in an interview with Olisa TV.
He continued, ‘We are in court on the matter of our guild, the Actors Guild of Nigeria, not on the issue of death or motor accident. I don’t wish jail for her.’
He however couldn’t help but also speak about their existing feud.
‘Ibinabo has been impersonating to be the president. I am the president. I only want her to vacate the office. If she has a case and jailed for it, it has nothing to do with me,’ the actor said.
Ibinabo Fiberesima on Friday failed in her bid to have a 5-year jail sentence for a 2006 manslaughter upturned.
