TVC E, POLITICS – Ondo state Governor, Olusegun Mimiko has signed the 2016 appropriation bill into law.
The budget which was initially put at N118.9 billion was increased to N156 billion.
The budget which is the last to be implemented by this administration, according to Governor Mimiko, would ensure quick completion of the ongoing projects in the state.
The Governor noted that the key challenge to budget implementation is the
availability and adequacy of fund.
This, he added is not unconnected with the dwindling oil revenue which provides about 90%of the country’s revenue
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jumoke Akindele said the budget if well implemented would transform the state.
