El-Kanemi Warriors threaten to dump NPFL over temporary pitch

TVC E, SPORTS – Maiduguri side, El-Kanemi Warriors, have threatened to withdraw from the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, if the club is forced to continue playing in their temporary home ground in Katsina.

The Warriors have been playing their home games at the Karkanda Stadium in Katsina for the past two years following the security situation in Borno State.

But they say playing home away from home has placed a huge financial burden on the club.
