In addition, 150 trucks have been provided by oil marketers like A. A. Rano, Azman, and Rahamaniyya.
These measures are part of efforts by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Capital Oil to effectively intervene to end the scarcity of petrol in Abuja and some major cities which have left consumers queuing for long hours at filling stations.
Addressing journalists, Managing Director of PPMC, Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue, said these interventionist efforts will continue until the queues disappear.
Although not a regulator, PPMC has made an extra effort to end the fuel crisis by deploying its staff to petrol stations across Abuja for round-the-clock monitoring.
