TVC E, NEWS – Former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice Marshal Alex Badeh’s day in court hit a brick wall after the trial Judge, Okon Abang failed to turn up for the hearing.
Justice Abang was said to have left Abuja for Lagos and could not return before Badeh’s arraignment.
The case has now been adjourned to next Monday.
Badeh faces a 10-count charge of criminal breach of trust and financial recklessness brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
He is also accused of stealing money meant for the purchase of arms by allegedly diverting N1.1 billion meant for the Nigerian Air Force to buy a mansion for himself in Abuja.
