Yoruba actor Arakangudu loses battle to Asthma

TVC E, MOVIE – It is no longer news that the inevitable end will come knocking one day, when and where it will be remain unknown to anyone.

This is the case of popular Yoruba language actor, Sikiru Adesina, fondly referred to as Arakangudu.

Although he had taken a break from acting for some time, little did many know that when he showed up mid last year in Ayaba Oosa, a film directed by Okiki Afolayan, it was to say an eternal goodbye to the world.

The news was received of the sudden death of notable Yoruba language actor, Sikiru Adeshina, who was said to have passed away in Kaduna, Kaduna State on Tuesday February 9, 2016.

Arakangudu, the versatile actor who hailed from Oshogbo in Osun State reportedly died of asthma attack.

It is not yet clear whether the remains of the actor will be buried in Kaduna, or taken to Oshogbo, considering the urgency required by Islam.

Arakangudu was said to have relocated to Kaduna when it appeared that movie roles were no longer flowing his way.
