TVC E – Yoruba actor and filmmaker, Bayo Alawiye, has concluded works on his new production, Made In Nigeria, and the film will hit the cinema soon.
The graduate of Theatre Arts from University of Ibadan and the director of the popular music reality show, Project Fame West Africa, teamed up with a movie enthusiast, Joseph Jaiyeoba to make the big budget movie.
Made In Nigeria, which was shot in Nigeria and United States of America, features stars like Toyin Aimakha, Joseph Bnejamin, Uti Nwachukwu, Frank Edoho, Ade Bantu among others.
Bayo, who is also the director of MTN TV game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, took to Instagram to share with his fans how the much-anticipated movie came into being.
‘I have always wanted to do something bigger. I kept searching for funds to realise this dream. . Sometimes I feel funds are getting to the wrong hands who have positioned themselves as the leaders in the industry. .I still feel so. I told myself however that that should not be a barrier. So I met this young man called Joseph Jaiyeoba, who is also passionate about making movies, making a positive impact. We, together have committed all we have into this, hoping that one day we’ll get the required funding. So we made MADE IN NIGERIA. This movie was shot in Chicago and Lagos.
