It’s been 5 days of life changing experience and continuous call to action. Folks from Nigeria and neighbouring West African countries are tapping into the pool of resource the Social Media Week Lagos 2016 has brought together.
The weeklong event features a central stage for keynote addresses and panels, multiple rooms for workshops, master-classes and presentations, and an area dedicated to co-working, networking and interactive installations. SMW was created to help people and organizations connect through collaboration, learning and the sharing of ideas and information.
Bringing together a host of partners, SMW Lagos 2016 has brought experts from different areas of events, research, news, education and branded content to impact on businesses and individuals who are keenly following the week.
The event listed over 300 speakers chosen from various industries, some of which include; award-winning global public relations and communications expert, Claudine Moore; Toks Bakare, Founder of asktoks.com; Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Lagos State Hon. Folorunsho Folarin-Coker;
Beyond the feel of the event, SMW has also gone ahead to expose how much the youth yearn for change in the way businesses, research and virtually all aspect of life is ran.
As a wrap up, SMW Lagos 2016 will host Omawumi and Reminisce in celebration of freedom at the social media interactive pavilion from 7-10PM tonight.
