TVC E, POLITICS – The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has cancelled indefinitely, the Imo North Senatorial re-run election, scheduled to hold on Saturday, February, the 20th.
Briefing Newsmen in INEC headquarters Owerri, administrative secretary of the Commission, Evurulobi Chinedu disclosed that the cancellation is due to security concerns.
Chinedu said the commission called off the election, for the safety of men and materials meant for the poll.
