TVC E – Former label mates, Don Jazzy and D’banj were present at Senator Ben Bruce’s 60th birthday which took place over the weekend.
During the ceremony, Ben Bruce revealed his wish to see D’banj and Don Jazzy perform together on stage however, the wish never came true as Don Jazzy left the hall before D’banj was called to perform.
The act prompted the ‘Oliver Twist’ singer to say, Don Jazzy had hidden even when he, expressed his love to perform with him.
He said, ‘he don escape…E be like say dey don hide am’.
The Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy has however cleared the air as he took to twitter to tell his side of the story stating that he had told everyone he would be retiring as an artist.
