TVC E, SOCCER – Super Eagles striker, Gbolahan Salami has been unveiled by Finnish club Kuopion Palloseura on Friday.
Salami became a free agent following the end of the 2015 NPFL season, where he finished as top scorer with 17 goals.
The 24 year-old voluntarily dropped out of Nigeria’s CHAN 2016 squad to push for a move abroad amidst a lot of backlash from fans of the national team.
Although details of the deal were not immediately released, the Kups posted a photograph of the player on their twitter handle.
The club will play in the Veikkausliiga and they also have Nigeria International Azubuike Egwuekwe on their payroll.
