EPL : Chelsea, Leicester grab last minute wins

TVC E, SPORTS – Chelsea came from behind to win a premier league game for the first time this season as they beat Southampton 2-1 away.

Shane Long put the Saints in front in the 42nd minute after a Baba Rahman blunder but the visitors equalised when a Cesc Fabregas cross crept in in the 75th.

Blues stand in captain Branislav Ivanovic then headed in the winner in the 89th minute from a Willian corner.

The win moves Chelsea up to 11th on the table as the Premier League champions remain ubeaten under interim manager Guus Hindink in the Premier league.

Elsewhere, Leonardo Ulloa grabbed a late winner as Leicester City beat Norwich 1-nil to extend their lead to 5 points ahead of second placed Tottenham, who are in action on Sunday.

West Ham United continued their charge for European football with a 1-nil home win over struggling Sunderland.

Stoke City beat Aston Villa 2-1 while West Brom withstood a late fightback from Crystal Palace to win 3-2.

The biggest clash of the weekend will see resurgent Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday with many of the Red Devils stars out injured.

Tottenham play Swansea at White Hart Lane.
