TVC E, BUSINESS – Participants at the Lekki Empowerment Project have advocated skill acquisition as a panacea to the rising levels of poverty and crime in the country.
The programme afforded hundreds of youth in the Ajah community in Lagos an opportunity to learn creative skills like Dance, Make Up, Photography, Cinematography among others.
Conveners of the project say the rising spate of crime and killings in the area inspired the project.
The programme also included training for people with hearing loss.
Participants believe that the skill acquisition programme will help them be better citizens of Nigeria.
