TVC E, MOVIES – Delectable Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson Akande has put paid to speculations that she got married because of her husband’s wealth.
The mother of two told TVCconnect Meets in an exclusive chat that her marriage is built on love and God.
Dakore, 37, said because her husband is from a wealthy home, did not translate to marrying into affluence.

“People are entitled to think what they wanna think, i married for love, that’s why I’m still married,” she told TVCconnect Meets.
Going further, the ‘Fifty’ actress said : “Just because my husband is from a wealthy family, doesn’t automatically mean i married into wealth. We love each other very much, we have two beautiful children and we are living our lives the best way we can.”
She however, noted that her marriage has not always been a bed of roses as there have been ups and downs.
“Sometimes you get upset with each other, you have expectations of each other that sometimes aren’t met, it’s a normal feeling but acting on it is a totally different thing, so we have challenges in our marriage like every marriage but we’re committed, we have our foundation as God, he is the third chord in our string, He keeps us together,” she said.
She also reiterated that she has returned to acting after a five-year hiatus.
“People know I’m back to work, i have a new film out that’s doing very well, 50, which is my latest work, .I’m still working,” she said.
