Van Gaal blames Europa slump on injury crisis

TVC E, SPORTS – Louis van Gaal has blamed Manchester United 2-1 defeat by FC Midtjylland in the Europa League on deepening injury crisis.

United travelled to Denmark with 13 first-team players unable to feature in their round-of-32 tie with Midtjylland, including captain Wayne Rooney, who faces six weeks out with a knee injury.

The team suffered a further setback just minutes before kick-off as David de Gea picked up an injury in the warm up, ruling him out of Thursday’s encounter.

Jurgen Klopp says he is not happy with Liverpool performance after the Reds played out a goalless draw at Augsburg.

Sevilla beat  Molde FK 3-nil, as Tottenham held a Fiorentina to a 1-all draw in Italy.
